Podcast and YouTube Monitoring
Overview
Trigify can monitor podcasts and YouTube for relevant content, giving you visibility into video and audio conversations that keyword-only tools miss.
YouTube Monitoring
Two source types are available for YouTube:
Keyword-Based YouTube Monitoring
Use "Monitor videos on YouTube" when you want to find videos about specific topics. Set up your boolean query with relevant keywords and Trigify searches video titles and descriptions for matches.
Channel-Based YouTube Monitoring
Use "Monitor YouTube channel activity" when you want to track every new video from a specific channel, regardless of topic. This is useful for monitoring competitor channels, industry thought leaders, or partner content.
Podcast Monitoring
Trigify tracks over 4 million podcasts and 38.5 million+ episodes, making it one of the most comprehensive podcast monitoring tools available. Two source types are offered:
Specific Podcast Monitoring
Use "Monitor Podcast" to follow a specific show. Trigify alerts you when new episodes are published and provides episode metadata and transcript data.
Keyword-Based Podcast Monitoring
Use "Monitor podcast keywords" to search across podcast transcripts. This is powerful because it finds mentions of your brand, competitors, or industry topics spoken in podcast conversations, even when the episode title does not include those words.
Example: Monitor podcast keywords for your company name to discover when industry podcasts mention your product, even if you were not a guest on the show. Catch mentions from trusted voices and industry experts before they spread to other channels.
Data Available
Podcast transcripts can also be retrieved in workflows using the "Get Podcast Transcript" node (2 credits per transcript).
