Slack
Send automated messages to Slack channels or direct messages to specific users when Trigify workflows detect matching social signals.
What Slack Does in Trigify
The Slack integration lets you push real-time notifications from your Trigify workflows straight into Slack. Alert your sales team when a prospect posts about a pain point, notify CS when a customer mentions churn, or DM a rep when their account shows buying signals.
Connecting Slack
Open or create a workflow in Trigify
Click Add action on any node
Select Slack and choose your action
Click Connect Slack in the configuration panel
You will be redirected to Slack to authorize Trigify for your workspace
Once authorized, you are returned to Trigify and can configure your action
Note: You only need to connect once. After that, Slack is available across all your workflows.
Available Actions
How to Send a Channel Message
Add a Slack > Send Channel Message action to your workflow
Select the channel you want to post to
Write your message content. Use dynamic variables from earlier workflow nodes (like the person's name, company, or the matched post content)
Save and activate your workflow
How to Send a Direct Message
Add a Slack > Send Direct Message action to your workflow
Select the Slack user who should receive the DM
Write your message content using dynamic variables
Save and activate your workflow
Tip: Use Send Direct Message to notify individual reps about their own accounts. Use Send Channel Message for team-wide alerts.
Example Workflow
Trigger: A tracked LinkedIn post matches your "hiring intent" keyword group.
Enrich: Pull company data and identify the hiring manager.
Action: Send a Slack channel message to #sales-alerts with the person's name, company, role, and a link to the original post.
Tips
Tip: Keep Slack messages short and actionable. Include a direct link to the LinkedIn post and the person's profile so reps can act immediately.
