What Instantly Does in Trigify

Instantly is a cold email platform built for scale. Connect it to Trigify to automatically send high-intent leads into your email campaigns or automation workflows, right after they show buying signals.

Connecting Instantly

  1. Open or create a workflow in Trigify.

  2. Click Add action on any node.

  3. Select Instantly and choose your action.

  4. Click Connect Instantly when prompted.

  5. Paste your Instantly API key (found in your Instantly account under Settings > Integrations > API).

  6. Once connected, configure your field mappings.

Campaign vs. Automation

Send to Instantly Campaign adds leads to a specific email campaign. Use this when you want leads to enter a predefined email sequence immediately.

Add to Instantly Automation pushes lead data to an Instantly automation. Automations are more flexible: they can include branching logic, multiple campaigns, conditions, and delays. Use this when you want Instantly to decide what happens next based on your automation rules.

Example Workflow

  1. A Listening trigger detects someone posting about a pain point your product solves.

  2. An enrichment action pulls their email and company data.

  3. A Send to Instantly Campaign action adds them to your outreach sequence with personalized fields.

Tips

Tip: Use the Campaign action for straightforward cold outreach. Use the Automation action when you need Instantly to route leads through more complex flows.

Note: Make sure your Instantly campaign or automation is active before sending leads from Trigify, otherwise they will queue but not send.
