X (Twitter) Social Actions

Overview

X Social Actions let you take actions on X (Twitter) directly from your Trigify workflows. You can create posts, like content, follow users, send DMs and more, all triggered automatically by your social listening data.

Early Access: X Social Actions require the Social Accounts addon, which can be enabled in Settings > Early Access.

Available Actions & Credit Costs

X actions are billed per execution. There are no per-seat fees β€” you only pay for what you run.

How to Enable

  1. Go to Settings > Early Access
  2. Toggle on Social Accounts
  3. Connect your X account when prompted
  4. Add the X action node in any workflow

Rate Limits

X enforces strict, layered rate limits per connected user account. Trigify tracks these per-user β€” if you hit a limit, the action will fail until the window resets.

  • Tweets (create / reply): 200 per 15-minute window, with a 300/hr user cap
  • Likes: 100 per 24 hours (very low β€” plan accordingly)
  • Retweets (Repost): 300 per 15 minutes
  • Follows: 400 per 24 hours
  • DMs: 200 per 15 minutes

These are X's limits, not Trigify's. They apply to the connected X account regardless of where the action originates.

Common Use Cases

Automated engagement: Set up workflows that automatically like or reply to relevant posts from thought leaders or prospects when they match your social listening criteria.

Content distribution: Automatically post updates to X when certain workflow conditions are met.

Outreach: Send a DM after enriching a high-intent author surfaced by a social listening search.
