How do I get notified when new posts match my search?
You’ve set up your searches and they’re finding great posts — here’s how to get told about new matches automatically instead of checking Trigify manually.
Option 1: The daily email digest
Trigify can email you a daily digest of new results from your listening searches. Turn it on under Settings → Notifications — each member of your organisation controls their own digest, so you only get it if you’ve opted in.
The digest is the simplest option — no workflow required. Switch it on and you’ll get a daily summary of fresh posts matching your searches.
Option 2: Slack notifications
For real-time alerts, send matching posts straight to a Slack channel:
- Create a workflow with a New Post Trigger connected to your listening search.
- (Optional but recommended) add an If Condition to filter for only the most relevant posts.
- Add a Slack action node, connect your workspace, and choose the channel.
- Format the message with the post details (author, text, URL) and publish.
Always add a filter before your notification node — you don’t want 50 Slack pings a day for irrelevant posts.
Option 3: Signals
Social Signals surface intent from accounts you track in a live feed inside Trigify. If you want a notification surface tied to specific accounts rather than keyword searches, see the Signals articles.
Option 4: Any other tool, via workflow
Want alerts somewhere else — email via your own provider, a webhook, or another app? Add an HTTP Request node (or the matching integration) to a workflow and send the post details wherever you need them.
