Set up Social Signals monitoring
Setting up Social Signals takes three steps: add the business network profiles and companies you want to watch, choose which signals to monitor, then review the cost and cadence and launch. This article walks through each step of the setup wizard.
You can reopen the wizard any time from the feed header using Manage profiles or Edit signals. It pre-fills with your current setup, so editing is just adding or removing.
Step 1: Targets
Add the business network profiles and companies to monitor. You can:
Paste business network profile or company URLs — one per line or comma-separated.
Upload a CSV, or drag and drop one onto the input box. Trigify finds the column that holds business network URLs.
As you add targets, the wizard validates each one and flags how many are valid, invalid, or duplicates. Invalid rows open a review panel so you can fix or skip them. The targets table separates People from Companies so you can see the split.
Each plan caps how many profiles you can monitor. If you go over your limit you’ll see a prompt to remove some targets or upgrade before you can continue. Enterprise and Max plans have no profile cap.
Step 2: Configure (pick your signals)
Choose which of the 16 signal types to watch. Two of them work instantly with no extra setup:
Changed role
Changed company
Every other signal needs configuration — you supply the inputs it watches against, for example:
Competitor, tracked-company, or tracked-person business network URLs
Tracked post URLs
Topic keywords, job keywords, or initiative keywords
Locations
Add as many signals as you like — you can tune them later. The estimated cost updates as you select.
Step 3: Review and launch
The review screen summarises three things: your profiles, your signals, and your cadence, alongside an estimated credit burn and runway. Each summary card has an Edit link back to the relevant step.
Choosing a cadence
The first run looks back 30 days, so you get historical hits on day one. After that, Trigify checks each signal on your chosen cadence going forward.
Cost and “Free in beta”
The wizard estimates your credit burn per target per day and shows a credit runway. During early access, Social Signals is free — the price is shown struck through with a Free in beta badge so you can see the post-launch cost.
“Free in beta” won’t last forever. Once Social Signals leaves early access, the struck-through price becomes your real credit cost. Keep an eye on the estimate so there are no surprises at launch.
Launching
Click Launch monitor. Trigify starts enriching your profiles immediately, then begins scheduled checks. You’re redirected to the feed, where you can pause or edit the monitor at any time.
