Can I filter posts by country or language?

If you are getting flooded with posts in the wrong language or from the wrong region, we hear you. This is a common frustration, especially if you are targeting a specific market.

The current situation

Trigify does not currently support country or language filtering at the Listening level. All posts matching your keywords will be captured regardless of location or language.

Workarounds

Workaround: Filter by country in your Workflow

1. In your workflow, add a Person Enrichment node after your trigger.2. Add an If Condition node after Person Enrichment.3. Set the condition to check Person Country contains your target country (e.g., "Germany").4. Only posts from people in that country will continue through the workflow.

Workaround: Filter by language in your Workflow

1. In your workflow, add a General Agent node after your trigger.

2. In the prompt, ask it: "What language is this post written in? Reply with only the language name."

3. Add an If Condition node that checks if the agent output contains your target language (e.g., "German").

4. Only posts in that language will continue through the workflow.

Tip: These workarounds do cost credits (Person Enrichment = 4 credits, General Agent varies). But they are the most reliable way to filter until native language/location filtering is available.
