Can I enrich people from Reddit, YouTube, or X posts?
This is a really common assumption, and we totally understand the frustration when you realize it does not work the way you expected.
What works and what does not
Person Enrichment, Company Enrichment, Get Post Likes, and Get Post Comments only work with Business Network saved searches. They do not work with Reddit, YouTube, or X posts.
For non-Business Network platforms, Trigify captures the post data (author name, post text, URL), but cannot automatically look up the poster's email, company, or LinkedIn profile.
Workarounds
Option 1: Use the General Agent
Add a General Agent node with web search enabled. Ask it to research the poster based on their username and find their LinkedIn profile or company. This is not 100% reliable but works well for prominent posters.
This will use credits.
Option 2: Push to Clay
Send the post data (author name, platform, URL) to Clay via the HTTP Request node. Clay has waterfall enrichment that can attempt to match the poster across platforms and find their contact info.
Why the limitation? LinkedIn provides structured profile data that makes enrichment reliable. Reddit, YouTube, and X do not expose the same structured identity data, so automated enrichment is not possible.
