I'm getting a payment error during signu
Running into a payment error while trying to sign up or start a paid plan? Here are the most common causes and how to fix them.
Common Causes
1. Card Details Are Incorrect
Double-check that you've entered:
The correct card number (no extra spaces or missing digits)
The correct expiration date
The correct CVC/CVV code
The correct billing address (must match what your bank has on file)
2. Insufficient Funds
Make sure the card you're using has enough available balance or credit limit to cover the charge.
3. Bank Is Blocking the Transaction
Some banks flag online subscription payments, especially international ones. You can:
Check your bank app for a declined transaction notification
Call your bank and let them know you're making a legitimate purchase
Try the payment again after your bank approves it
4. Card Type Not Supported
Trigify accepts major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Prepaid cards may not always work.
How to Fix It
Step 1: Try Again
Sometimes payment processors have temporary hiccups. Wait a minute and try again.
Step 2: Use a Different Card
If your primary card isn't working, try a different credit or debit card.
Step 3: Clear Browser Cache
Occasionally, cached data can interfere with the payment form:
Clear your browser cache and cookies
Reload the signup page
Enter your details fresh
Step 4: Try a Different Browser
If the payment form seems unresponsive or broken, try completing signup in a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
